What a tremendous finish to another successful weekend as our 12 Gold girls captured the Torrance Summer Classic (with very winter like weather) by pounding the host Torrance team 10-1 by the run rule after five innings. Our girls are now 16-1 as we prepare this week to take on some tough competition in Carlsbad's Seabreeze Tournament this coming weekend.
Ladies...you continue to amaze me with your focus, effort and toughness!! You bounced back after a scare from Long Beach to play your best ball of the weekend in downing El Segundo and Torrance by a combined 16-2 score. You played like champions because you are CHAMPIONS!
